You may not think it matters what a picture of a gasket looks like, but it does. More importantly, it matters whether or not the design elements are consistent with those of the other product shots in your inventory line up. Consistency is the foundation of quality.

Making sure people see that you care as much about the photograph of the gasket as the photograph of “whole gun” translates into a consistent philosophy about every product you offer. It generates consumer confidence through visual integrity. We may take 1,500 shots and only use about 300 when we do a product photo shoot. It isn’t because we don’t know what we are doing, it’s because we do.

We work on product shots in three ways: by the hour, the number of shots taken or the number purchased.
