Our Blog
Our goal in posting our blogs is three fold: To introduce timely industry news that is relevant to our clients; to post items we find interesting and entertaining, and finally, to give you a glimpse of TSW US “Behind the Curtain”. We take the business aspects of what we are doing very seriously, but we like to have fun, hopefully that shines through here.
Our Blog is a puzzle being assembled. Sometimes the individual pieces of the puzzle don’t look like the whole picture once completed – You have to keep adding pieces one at a time to make the image clear. We hope you keep coming back to see how the TSW US puzzle takes shape.
Business Travel is Glamorous
Business travel is rarely as glamorous as you would expect, but once in a while you get lucky. This week, we spent Sunday and Monday in Gruene, Texas, and as always we were thrilled to be there. Plus, we now have a healthy re-supply on our Lone Star Beer bottle caps.
Wit & Wisdom Wednesday - Le Petit Prince
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." Antoine de Saint-Exupery
It is Wit & Wisdom Wednesday at Elarbee Media, and we anticipate in the upcoming holiday we will be feeling like the snake that swallowed the elephant in Le Petit Prince, so we thought we would quote Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
So often in life, we are compelled to make decision on a rational basis, rather than on our instincts or intuition.
Call it gut, heart or emotion, we all come to the table understanding exactly who we are and reacting to events as the character we have become in life.
Is it a “chapeau” or a “snake that has swallowed an elephant”? We hope you see the elephant.
Cocktail Friday Lone Star Beer Bottle Cap 157
It is Cocktail Friday at Elarbee Media. As part of our continuing series on Lone Star Bottle Caps, we are offering up # 157. It is a red cap, which we all by now know designates it as a regular not a light beer.
Color coded product labels and conversation starters. We like it. Cheers Texas!
Art Tuesday Pink is the New Autumn
It is Art Tuesday at Elarbee Media and this week we are working on Canadian Media profiles, so we thought we would highlight this Autumnal maple leaf impression on tissue.
Donated to the office by Colette, Age 6, it adds cheery color on some rainy and cold days without robbing itself of the feeling of the season.
Pink is the new Autumn! On a serious note, often stepping back and viewing a problem or project through a different lens can lead to spectacular results.
Tombstones for Media RIP Bow & Arrow Hunting
R.I.P Bow & Arrow Hunting . As part of our segment Tombstones for Media, we highlight popular media that are ceasing distribution. We offer replacement suggestions that target either the same demographic, or the same geographic footprint as the publication that is being buried. Bow & Arrow Hunting will cease publication for 2016.
As a replacement option, we recommend: Eastmans' Bowhunting Journal, Bowhunting World, or Petersen's Bowhunting.

Business Travel
We are taking off to London on a business review. It will be so nice to reconnect with our friends and colleagues in the UK.
Cocktail Friday Hot Toddy
It is Cocktail Friday at Elarbee Media. To combat the incoming cold weather, and keep your throat and palate happy, we thought we would share our favorite Hot Toddy recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons honey
3 fingers of bourbon
Juice from half a lemon
1 cinnamon stick
This one is served in a cork lined copper bottomed glass to keep the heat in.
Often we find that we don't have a cinnamon stick, a fresh lemon or honey. And we don't bother to heat the bourbon. It still makes us feel warm on a cold day. Cheers!
